Hi,

I manage a singer and she has a big social media fan base. Her name is Charly Mae but when you type her name into Google, some other person is called "Charly Mae Nelson". This person was originally called Charly Nelson but because of Charly Mae's traffic Charly Nelson put the word "Mae" into her name. Now Google refers to her pages when you search for "Charly Mae".

So, how can I have "Charly Mae Nelson" removed when someone searches for "Charly Mae"

Thanks

Fake Lawyer letter, will do the trick, Defamation of character, will soon make her change her act...

On gogly.co.uk "charley mae nelson" ranks No4. 3 places below your client.
Now if your competition is ranking for the longer tail keyword than you are
for the shorter keyword then you need to step up your SEO game or get a better client as more people
are interested in the other one then they are yours.

Really?? How can she rank number 4 below my client. The whole page is dedicated to my client.

How can I knock "Charly Mae Nelson" off the first page?

Touchy situation. I wouldn't send the fake letter since your competitors has 14 credits on imdb, doubt it would work.. Like Oxonbeef said "step up your SEO game". Concentrate on your client emphasizing on song, music, videos, lyrics, etc. Stay away from anything acting, director related. Imdb is gonna be hard to bump.. Because of the likeness and names its gonna be hard..

If your sure her middle name is not mae, being authority sites, you could send a nice email asking for a correction.
Could register charlymaenelson domain(s) and well have some fun..

5'6", Straight long blonde hair, green eyes. That's some serious competition. jk
They look like they could almost be sisters as well, (pics i'm looking at).

I'm gonna jump out of this one. Last time I was in the middle of two competing women, it didn't work out too well for me..
