I was wondering whether anyone knows what this means. I've just been trying to join a couple of affiliate programs on Impact.com and both of them have given me the following:
[Program] has declined your request to work with the campaign [Program] for the following reason: The area on media partner account is set to be auto rejected for that Brand.

I've had a Google and can't seem to find any answers. I'll drop support an email tomorrow if no one knows here but I thought I'd ask here first :)

I think that the advertiser temporary disabled new affiliate registrations.

Not sure about this answer, maybe your websites that you added to your Impact account does not meet their minimum requirements and this is just a generic rejection message.

For which affiliate program are you getting this?

I've received this from Petco and Petsmart.

The rejected emails are coming in within seconds of me requesting to join, so I'm assuming it's automatic rejection rather than a manual activity.

You can also try creating an account from a fake US address, and using US VPN. Maybe they don't like you country of residence? We can just guess on this one.

That's probably the case. I guess that's the problem with running a US affiliate site when you don't live there.

realising I'm some years late to this reply, and came across this because I have just set up my auto reject rules. I reject anyone not based in my country. I see someone offering advice to use a vpn, but I don't see the point. If you don't have traffic from my country, then you won't get sales from my country either, and therefore won't make any money...
