I've been posting ads on this popular site for 6 years and never experienced this problem before. No matter if I change my ad, url, or IP address I get flagged within a minute. Not by people but by the company. Sure...I've been locked out of certain sections for a while but now I'm locked out of every section. I can even go legit and post that I want to give my cat away in the pet section and my ad will be flagged before it goes live. I can post "test" in the auto parts section and get flagged immediately. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Once you've cleared your cookies be sure to not use ANY ip you have used in the past. Also, if you're trying to post on Craigslist they have pretty good proxy detection so you might need to buy an elite private proxy. Also you're proxy's location needs to be geographically near to where you wish to post.

So far so good! Got 2 consecutive ads up. Kinda a pain clearing cookies and changing IP address but whatever works! Thanks Demon! :)

If it's craigslist, they can flag simply for content. I liked an ad some guy on the other side of the country was running, so I copied it and ran it in my city and not only did it get flagged, but every ad I tried to run afterwards got flagged too. Eventually I had to phone verify. For example, it might be your phone number that's tripping the flag.

Maybe....the changing IP and clearing cookies thing stopped working after 2 posts.

What I don't get is CL used to crack down for a couple weeks and then let up for a couple months. CL has been riding me since October. There has been let ups but only for 2 days max.

I've tried changing my IP addy, new posting accts, CCleaner after each post, new ads, and made new urls. Nothing works. Within 1 minute my ads get flagged before they even go "live". Here's the kicker. If I copy and paste someone else's ad containing their url and post it the ad goes "live". Unbelievable to me.

same problem here....i have noticed a few things that might help. PM me if interested!

This is crazy! Another day and I cannot get a single ad to go "live". Urrr.....

I've been having the same issues with CL flagging my ads within a minute. I've been running a lot of tests and I suspect posting too frequently may be a trigger, but instead of saying 'CL can't keep up', CL just flags the ad.

CL seems to be auto-flagging a bunch of people. The CL flag forum is full of people complaining.

How can you tell it you're not being flagged by an flagging program? Could your competition be doing you in?

I know exactly what you guys are talking about.. Im about to try a software that & get this "it boasts it can block every flag that you get, and keeps your ad live". Now i have not tried it yet, but after reading this thread and realizing how this is not a small problem for me alone, im going to give this software a shot.. I also dont want to give false advise and tlel you the name of it just yet, so im going to try it and im going to come back by next week or so:) and give you the answer to weather this new software works or not.. or you can just email me at redwaterdad-01 yahoo

if your using Firefox you can use a addon called click to clean, then all you have to do in firefox to run ccleaner. is push a button

I don't know if it has occurred to you, but maybe the people reading are flagging you. I Houston, we flag everybody off computer gigs as fast as they post, unless it is a computer gig. That board is a job board for local computer gigs, and we have an army of flaggers who are relentless about keeping it that way.

Some ads pop in there for a few minutes, but its nothing like Alanta's board or many I have looked at.

Some communities just don't put up with the spam.
