Imgur Links

Has anyone been having success with Imgur links lately? Back years ago, I was able to pull some decent traffic from Imgur by link dropping whenever I made the front page. However, after testing it out recently, I'm not seeing this working much lately. Has the community in Imgur gone against this tactic?

They have gone against it a long time ago and they ghost posts really fast. Don't forget about the ban.
