Wow that sucks.
I would always read the boards of whatever movie I watched. I like analyzing movies and catching stuff I missed.
This seems like a stupid move. Probably too hard to control.

Not necessarily. The users are eager to continue their routines on some place looking/sounding familiar to the old one.
The politics boards are blasting with desperation right now, "what shell I do now" "Oh the horror"
