IMDB - backlink from it, not helping much

I have a backlink to my business site in my IMDB profile and google webmaster tools has picked it up. the backlink is over a year old.

when I check in majestic and ahref, that IMDB profile has basically NO trust flow.

1. even though IMDB itself has a high authority, would a page with zero authority hurt my ranking?
2. should I get rid of this backlink since IMDB has absolutely nothing to do with my business site? or should I try to get some trust built into it and have it gained some trust flow?

thanks for the quick response. so what are your thoughts on using google disavow tool to tell google not to count shitty backlinks? would you still say that a back link is still a backlink in this case? or your thinking is only relevant for backlinks from high authority domains?

I wouldn't count that as a shitty back link. I'd say it's the metrics tools that are at fault. They are for guidance only.

I believe it won't hurt your site anyway. I'd disavow it if the same link comes from imdb***sex*.com
A link from an authority site is always good (though it won't help your ranking much if the link is burried deep in the site) This comes in handy for reputation management. Also check robots.txt of imdb here - http://www.imdb.com/robots.txt Eventhough you may find some of the pages getting indexed on Google inspite of block in robots.txt, the search engine would not honor the backlinks from those pages.

Build some backlinks to your IMDB profile.
