Imaginary website building case study

Could you do me a favour. Could you imagine I have a website that makes billions a day. I want to see what positive impact it has on my life. I'll split half of my imaginary money with you if you do a good job.

Thanks.
I'll do it for 70/30 for me, I mean imagine what you could do imagining you had 300 MM (we'll start with just 1 billion). Can you imagine that?

That thread went to shit as is this. No one answers meaningful answers. And as I said I’m not asking for a niche. Just want to see what the “Pro’s” are going to say, but seems like there are none here.
I’m already doing my own thing, but it seems that no one here thinks in terms of ROI and finance. Everyone just does everything based on luck and tries some shiny “new” method once in a while.

You aren't asking proper questions, you are asking fantasy questions which people can't answer and are pretty meaningless.
It looks like you are unfamiliar with SEO, there are plenty of SEO guides out there, read some and then come back with a question that can be answered but people aren't going to spoonfeed their SEP methods and strategies, not because they don't want to but writing an SEO guide takes time and if people are going to do it they will post it on their own sites.

I'd head over to this thread where @SeoPublicist is doing some crazy deals at the moment including a 10k word site for under $100.
Seriously the guy must be in a straight jacket

Haha straight and steady @MisterF , cool thing the big team is still buying their Oreos and Cameo cookies plus it has been a nice promo test while still earning a minuscule profit regardless of the upsell..they key was on the upsell which compensates as you know..still will always confirm the same no matter the numbers..ey.eyy:anyway::D

OP with that spendable budget "given" as you said I'll definitely:

--> If that's the case, check this youtube video out -->
The guy is actually pretty cool, he spent $3,200 instead of $3k out of $4k. Very similar case here for you.

I think it's more valuable for you to see from another guy that had bigger success than me, so you actually saved me from actually editing a long post. The above video drives exactly all the answers almost entirely to your specifics.

@theRevolt dude don't give out your secret to loudly..you should pay my tickets to Ungagged this June and I'll pay the round of beer twice and I'll still do Shaeffer as that's the only part I am still low standard, an expired tongue..what can I say:confused: Darn a wiki for painting a picture..sub-consciously I must be getting old:eek:

Questions:
- What's your strategy?

KW research for one. See what makes sense in terms of ranking based on difficulty and search volume.

- What are you going to spend the money on? If you are going to use tools like Ahrefs then count those also in expenses.

I use the general tools that most do; Ahrefs, KW finder, Semrush etc. The boxed products do as good a job as one can expect. I'd use mainly services I provide to rank the site so the $ volume is not going to be "fair" when it comes to an algo if you were to put this all in a spreadsheet.

- What are your estimates how much you are going to earn per month:
1) in 6 months
2) in 1 year
3) in 2 years at the time you are selling the website

I stay away from those kinds of projections when it comes to ranking sites as Google is pretty fickle and it is hard to lay out a solid proforma that I would put in front of anyone including myself.

- What are your estimates for how much you could sell the website?
- TOTAL PROFIT of the project?

After a couple of years I would be looking for a multiplier of between 18 and 24 months of profit if it was just a site based on organic traffic.
Actually this is some solid advice! Thank you!
