Images with copyright

Good morning guys, i've a simple question for you expert (more than me for sure :) )
I'm realizing a website, where i'll need to use some images from the web (mainly tv series or film). The problem here (as you know) is that all the good images have copyright and i've read that i can't use em even for non commercial use.
How do you guys deal with this problem for your images?
If i photoshop one licensed image, will that be ok?
If not, what do you suggest?

This is a major issue with copyright images. You can't use a copyright image without permission & if you do photoshop on images so it will be a problem for you if the copyright person finds those images. So the better option is to to use their images but give me image credit
 
provide credits and if possible, try to ask for permission first. Better safe than sorry mate :)

Just so you know, there are companies such as Getty that hunt relentlessly for people violating their copyright so they can send them a demand letter for $1200. A buddy that did websites told me about a client that got one. Best bet is to research fair use laws and or seek permission first. Get and save any permission in writing!
 
Why not use sites like Unsplash and other copy right free sites, best option would be signing up for adobe they give free 10 images or Envato license for unlimited images, or the best option shutterstock remember invest few extra dollars today and save your thousand dollars ahead
 
The problem here is that i'm developing a website with mostly tv series / games contents.
Let's say for example i'm writing an article regarding game of thrones, if i search on google images, and i set "labeled for reuse", all the images are very poor quality and/or non relevant to the argument.
Also if i try on free sites like Unsplash, there is little to nothing regarding GOT.

I was thinking, what if i take a screenshot from an episode? Can i do that?
 
Using copyright images is pretty risk to take...look for license free images..or better add credits to the images ...this works
