Are you are sick of trying free losslessly compression software on your pictures for your blog? Need to compress the hell out of them without losing all the detail?

Just do the following.

1. Head over to Facebook and upload the pictures to your profile. Remember to set them to private that no-one, but you can see them.

Now click and save every picture. You will find that the image quality is fantastic and the size is pretty much as small as you can get it.

2.Now go to tinypng.com and shrink them even more for free. (They do not ask anything from you) I found that you shave off on average 10-15%.

Then download and there you go.

I know it's not the most streamlined solution, but the results are pretty good.

Or download a tool for resizing/compressing pictures in bulk and save yourself all this time uploadong and downloading and again uploading the same damn pictures lol

Compresspng.com + WP Smush Pro.

Here's a fun tip to take stock images and make them "unique", since this seems somewhat relevant:

Flip the image horizontally. Crop it down a little bit. Change the coloring (black and white is nice where applicable). Change the file name.

Thank you all for the great tips on this subject.
