Images or Videos for exact same content? (Quote page)

I post quotes. Usually they are images, since its just text. I keep reading videos perform better. Should I make videos out of my images, basically, by adding some animations for my text and they will be short. Or should I keep posting images, because video content like that is pretty boring. But maybe it will give me an edge over other quote pages in my niche, though it also takes 5-10x the effort to make a short video compared to one just an image of same thing. Anyways, whats your thoughts?

Consider creating videos that shows the quotes one line at a time. IG ranks videos faster than Images. People no longer come to IG to see pictures, its boring, videos fascinates Ig users and they'll follow too.
