    Hello there, as you can see in the topic I have a problem with images on my WordPress blog

    Sometimes, they aren't displaying properly.
    blog.jpg

    I'm using Dimenzion Retro Theme, not the latest version though. I'm not sure what is the problem, because sometimes the one that was blank appears, and the other ones are blank.

    Any ideas what's the problem? I'm mostly using well-written themes, but this one was lovely(for my girlfriend) so I couldn't do anything at all lol. Thanks in advance!

    Do you use AdBlock? I have 2 added rules that mess up WP's so sometimes I need to disable adblock to see images. Same happened on your blog.

    I dont get this, the site is online all the time for me and all friends... btw: http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/www.kreatywna-para.pl

    ~kreatywna-para.pl that's my blog.

    Yeah, I do but it's not this kind of problem. I'm pretty sure the problem = theme. Even without AB I can't see some of the img's :X

    I was able to see your blog yesterday as well as today. I was trying to troubleshoot for you but got distracted so if you see a lot of activity, it was me.
    ANYWAY, if I remember correctly, a certain thumbnail format is NOT being rendered properly. WELL...as I said this, they all appeared. [?!?] Mmmm. I've got my own issues right now but maybe I can help more later; I know how frustrating that is.

    I do not know why no one else can not see your site.

    Just did something really quick: Reloaded your page and two images were gone. I clicked to go to the category of one of the missing images and the full image rendered. I went back to your index and the thumbnails of the BOTH missing thumbnails were there. BUT something funny happened when I went to your category... the BLACK IS BACK image was in the place of the regular image for a split second.

    Maybe that can help.

    when i went to a category archive [kreatywna-para.pl/category/zdrowie/] and refreshed, the BLACK IS SUCH a HAPPY COLOR image rendered again for a split second. this time, it was on the CATEGORY page. i went to Konkurs? Category and the same thing happened. I hit the back button to go BACK to index and the BLACK IMAGE rendered again for a split second. Zrobe to Sam category did it too. Even your index page. IDK what that black image is hooked to, but it's something.

    (Edit post isn't taking.) MORE information - the 'black' image even pops in for the millisecond in POSTS. SO...we have it happening on the index, post and category archive that i've noticed.

    Check your network tab in the Inspect Element. Most probably, you have used relative url, so when the site has urls like domain.com/category/abc the images won't show. Make sure your image src is absolute to the domain, not relative...

    By the way, I am feeling good today..so If you pm me the exact links, i can fix the problem for you...

    Cheers

    As I can see in Google Analytics I have some US/Asian/etc people that view my site, so it's working. But I dont get, why some of the people can't access it?

    Yup, the whole thing with loading the website looks bad. It happens almost on the every page of my site. Thanks Snickets for the research!

    I'm not sure about the whole thing with the absolute and relative URLs, so I will PM you. Thanks!

    You are using timthumb.php for resizing the images and I believe it is about thumbnail caching and folder permissions or maybe its the alowed memory size problem. Both that cases I suggest you to use
    in your themes functions.php and then replace the image paths like
    instead of
    it will work well but I must warn the pictures you uploaded before will not be rendered. They might cause problem at your main page.

    image source could not be loaded at your IP region.. Or if its uploaded in your blog itself, its just due to the speed of internet connection. let me know if any other possibilities for this problem..

    You need the first image of your post is it?(By the way,ob_start(); ob_end_clean(); doesn't do anything lol. That's just wastage of precious memory ) Use this one
    Code:
    function catch_that_image() {
      global $post, $posts;
      $first_img = '';
      $output = preg_match_all('/<img.+src=[\'"]([^\'"]+)[\'"].*>/i', $post->post_content, $matches);
      $first_img = $matches[1][0];

      if(empty($first_img)) {
        $first_img = "/change/this/fuckin/path.png";
      }
      return $first_img;
    }

    call it like

    Code:
    while(have_posts()) : the_post();
    // oh man i am reall fukd up. i ned da frst imeg.....

    // ohh i knew it!!
    $my_image = catch_that_image();

    // i will do wonders with my image!!!!!!!!!
