Image Title Tag and Description

Hello friends,

I am doing on page seo for an article that has 10 images in it and I targeting one main keyword for that article. Should I use the same keyword for the title tag of the 10 images or should I use different variations?

Also should I also consider add image description too?

I'd use different keyword variations. This will also help to get traffic from the keyword variations.

That being said I see people all the time go do exactly the opposite of what I would do - and they manage to game the system. Not too long ago I saw a ranking website and at the bottom of the page (visible but beneath the fold) they had keyword stuffed the same keyphrase like 50+ times. Go figure...

I usually don't mess with the description on an image. I do name the image according to my keyphrases and this will help you get some traffic from Google Images when and if you are indexed, but only a little.

You should use different keyword variations with your targeted keyword that will help to get more traffic. You don't have to consider image description using alt tag with a relevant keyword on your image will surely describe the image.

Bro, I am so deep into on page optimisation, I dont use title OR alt anymore. I only use the filename.

why? it helps me "defuck" on page issues faster.

that "alt" is just gurubloggercrap and another point that could blow up your on page density, creating penalties that are a PITA to correct.
