iMacros Random Word ?

using the firefox extension, who knows how to have a variable assigned a random word or random text string?

I always interested to master iMacros automation software.. till now i can't figure it out on how to get and extract some text like twitter usernames.. i know this is simple but i can't figure it out to extract all the twitter members usernames only. Ex: www dot twitter dot com/johndoe

I have question, can we use a wildcard symbol * to get and call iMacros to extract those usernames?

I don't know much about imacros bro! If you are good at anyother programming lang like VB or C++ you can make imacros to do a lot of work.

There was a wso on macros and it is here somewhere in download section

TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME: ATTR=NAME:user CONTENT={{!COL1}}

I tried putting '*' at the !COL1 in the .csv file but it just copied it to the form.

Hi there

I suggest you download the videos and try to understand.What i have seen is that * is used if there is a variation in URLs.

Let us say you are creating profile in one forum and you are recording a macro.

then macro will look like this.

goto

 [URL="http://www.forumloginurl.com/1234"]www.forumloginurl.com/1234[/URL]

so if u rerun the macro it wont work because some forums will have dynamic url for login page i mean like this

 [/URL]

[URL="http://www.forumloginurl.com/1245"]www.forumloginurl.com/1245[/URL]

so you go to your macrocode and add * symbol like this

You just make those random texts in the excel and save as CSV files, then use

TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=NAME: ATTR=NAME:user CONTENT={{!COL1}}

Also google -username generator- and you will find software that generates thousands of usernames for you to paste into excel.
