Confirmed to be working. Thank you for your help. Hopefully people will see this reply!

The Script works well. However i didn't get any new followers in the 2 days that i ran it.
So i am not sure how you guys are getting hundreds of followers. Only one guy RT me thanking me for favoriting his Tweet !
thats about it.

Thanks for the script :)
Cheers

I've tried this with two different accounts. One as a business and one personal with a female. The business one only gets about 10 real followers a day. The personal one with a female gets about 50 real followers a day. It also depends on the keywords that you search. They are both new accounts so the max I can favorite with them is 1000 a day. I set a loop to 65 just below a thousand favorites. I'm almost at 1000 followers with the female account and I will see and let you guys know if the restrictions change after more followers.

This works. However be very careful to select a keyword which is very close to the theme of your twitter account. These are real people and will only follow your account if there's anything worthwhile for them. In other words, Accounts with valuable content are sure to gain followers.

I run the lop 2-3 times a day and gain about 20-30 new followers on a good day !

Damn, all it does for me is favoriting a tweet, then unfavoriting it...all the time.

The original code would favorite 15 tweets then unfavorite them. Edited the code a bit and came up with this. Thought I'd share it.

Code:
VERSION BUILD=8300326 RECORDER=FX
TAB T=1
URL GOTO=twitter.com/search/realtime?q=<TREND HERE>&src=typd
TAG POS=1 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=2 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=3 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=4 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=5 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=6 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=7 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=8 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=9 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=.5
TAG POS=10 TYPE=B ATTR=TXT:Favorite
WAIT SECONDS=30
TAG POS=2 TYPE=DIV ATTR=TXT:*<SP>new<SP>Tweets
WAIT SECONDS=2

It's a little slower than the original because of the 30 second wait, but it works for me. Let me know if it works for you guys.

Also, if anyone has a better way to fix the unfavorite problem let us know. Apologies if the code seems a bit retarded. I'm a newb when it comes to coding.

I'm just curious if anyone has a code where it won't favorite a tweet if it contains a certain word/phrase/link. I've been trying to figure out how to do this but I'm a code newb as well.

Also, is there a way to delay the wait second through some kind of random seconds between 1-4 or so?

Thanks to anyone who can help me with this!

Thanks for this! Using it now (:

I was having the same line 3 issue, so this is perfect! Well done.
I'm trying niche words for now, but what trending words have you found to be successful?
