I have just watched this video and it really got me thinking. I want to share it and let me know your opinions about this documentary

I've watched the whole thing. As we all can observe, people still make and will make lots of money out of this. They can keep doing the same thing over and over again for years, why? Because people never learn and most of them crave about making money (nowadays it doesn't even matter the amount).

And to answer your question, not the whole IM world is a scamming business.

A pretty strong statement to call the IM world a scam, when it's clearly not.

Sure, there are scams but they don't compare. Major companies in the world like Google, are in the internet marketing world. Is Google a scam?

IM is not a scam, "get rich quick" is. It is a popular niche that targeting desperate people.

IM is so broad that makes the statement sound ridiculous. IM is not only CPA,CPC, dropshipping etc. You can do literally anything through IM, from political campaigns to building a legitimate business and promote your skills/services and so on.

Thanks for answers. I totally agree with you. There are scammers everywhere but that does not mean that a person is a scammer if he puts informational product and sells it. I do not understand why the hell Anthony Morrison is in this video. I have his program and he is teaching real valuable things like any real life education institution is doing. Being too much of a skeptic is not good either, who the hell you will learn from if you think everything is a scam? I consider a scam only when you buy a product and instead of valid information you get a picture of a middle finger or information which does not give any tangible practical steps who brings the desired result.

Like previous people said: IM is too broad to just label it as one thing.

People without morals and corruption is always where the money is.

It's funny that people who sell the idea of "earning money online", actually earn their income by selling that idea to people who want to earn online. Heck, I've even seen people on this forum complaining that they aren't making any money on their blogs about how to earn money on the web. o_O

I believe it's obvious that the most well-known gurus are just some scammers who say whatever for the quick buck, however, the same type of networks are here on the forum as well. Check the marketplace, the journey section and Black hat SEO and you will see the exact same behviour by the exact same people. So don't live with the illusion that this forum is a safezone.

Nothing bad about the forum - it is indeed a goldmine if you use the information correctly. But be aware of the same type of characters in the video that are operating here as well.

All in all: never buy anything from these guru guys. "Personal development" and "making money online" is flooded with immoral salesmen.

Well clearly this video doesn't tell that IM is a big scam like the title suggests. IM is and will continue to be profitable for people who learn research and thrive and test and move on. It's only a scam for people who are desperate and don't learn and buy methods of getting rich quickly from gurus.

Kind of like teachers/lectures. Most have never actually worked in the workplace which they got their degree in. Straight to teaching, all theory. It's basically the same thing. Teachers teaching what they've learned from teachers. Marketers marketing what they've learned from marketers. Doesn't make either right or wrong.

It's only a scam for people who are desperate and don't learn and buy methods of getting rich quickly from gurus.

That doesn't make it a scam though, does it? Behind every "get rich quick method" is an idea that if implemented, could make you money, or rather, "make you rich, quickly".

For example, You buy a product on "getting rich". The "method" is product creation. You create a launch a product in less than 30 days. You net 6 figures.

Do that a few times per year, I'd consider that "getting rich quick" especially when compared to traditional methods.

There are going to be good and bad sides of anything in the world.. Sure there are lots of scams but calling "internet marketing" as a whole a scam is not right.

"Get rich quick" is just one tiny section of IM.

As others have said, IM world is too big to label it all as a scam. Scams occur everywhere in all bussinesses and uninformed people will be always taken advantage of.

From personal experience, as someone who has been bodybuilding for 6 years, I see fat slobs left and right getting personal trainer certificates to train other fat slobs. Most of these people know absolute shit about fitness, they just find some cookie cutter training routine online, some cookie cutter meal plan and collect their check. If your clients get doubtful, you just wave the certificate in front of their face and they will feel like they are in the hands of a professional, regardless of what you have them do.

No one gets rich instantly. If you are new to IM and hoping to make millions with nothing then it will feel like a scam. Do you want to Get Rich Quick? Play the lottery.

Some people think they realized it in the beginning while others continue on the journey with get rich beliefs. Those who quit, stay like they used to be while those you choose the path to adventure, get failures but most valuably experience. Now both end on the same path but those who learn from both, are the rulers of IM.

P.S. - Super Panda says IM is not scam, some people are scam.:)

If you can't earn through IM, it WILL seem like a scam. For the rest of the IM'ers (those who are earning), it is a blessing (with no disguise).

IM is a big thing that is deep in melody, that is only meant for thinkers alone...

big offline (and now online too) corporations scam us all day and night, except if they have an army of lawyers to look legit, it is not called a scam, it is called a blue chip (think tobacco, health, pharma, food, insurance, bank, brokers, etc , you name it).

you have to keep on working and save your money, it takes me 3 years to buy a computer that I really want, you have to keep on working and learn how to save your money and then you will be able to buy big stuff.

What a croc of shit this video is. Everything migrated to the internet. Including scam artists, who existed long before 2008 like that Droid idiot stated. If you're dumb enough to believe those 'get rich fast schemes click now', safe to say it's about the same chance to loose the money for some pyramid scheme artist in real life as it is on the internet.

some people just want shortcuts, and others are there to provide them with ...
how to start a business without money, how to code an app without technical knowledge, how to start making money online without touching anything....in fact, we all want shortcuts

its everywhere now...even in sports, ...take an example about bodybuilding, they train and they want to build muscle quickly, so to do that they take drugs, steroids, ...
