I used to be a broker for a firm, so I was still kinda my own boss, but it definitely was a job because I would have to make sure my team met quotas, report to the top, etc. And this would drain a lot out of me.
After we shut down, I got into IM and honestly, I don't look at IM as a job or something I have to do. I earn money now with methods I have developed on my own, and I have fun every day doing this. I truly have fun developing and executing methods.
