I'm super a newbie, HELP NEEDED!

I just heard about IM and BHW few days ago. The things is, I don't know how to start and what to read. Please help me. Thanks so much in advance. People like you is an inspiration.

Find a forum section which interests you and start reading.

Once you find a method you like put it into action.

Welcome to BHW. Pick any section, as B. O. S. S. said and start with the skicky threads. Lots of methods are out there, find one that suits you.

Agreed. Newbies should get a warning message saying to use the search button when posting threads like this.

few clicks around this place and you'll be buried in info .. Look at couple different fields(cpa,adsense,e commerce,ect) and do a loot research before you hop in

Word of advice since your brand new too the forum ... search, read and keep too yourself til you have some understanding of IM from all ends ... People around here are willing to help, but you gotta meet them a bit past half way ...

The best thing to do is just browse BHW. Look at different categories and methods. Try to find something in the making money category that is interesting to you. Look for threads by people with a lot of posts, or a lot of thanks. Also, if they are a JR VIP, VIP, or Moderator, they will be much more credible then someone with 2 or 3 posts. The only thing I can recommend is something called Cell Phone Cash. It's a video tutorial by Maverick Money Makers on how to make money by advertising someone else's product in cell phone applications. Not sue how much it is, but it's worth it. Just google "Cell Phone Cash." So here are the steps to getting started with it if you are interested:

1. Google "Cell Phone Cash"
2. Buy it
3. Go through all the videos provided in the training
4. Set-Up your accounts with CPA networks and/or Affiliate Websites(Like Clickbank, etc.)
4. Go to Google Admob and set-up a free account
5. Set-Up advertising campaigns on Google Admob
6. Wait for the money to come in!

In my personal opinion, just because someone's name is in yellow doesn't mean their method won't work. I've worked with new members who were making bank. Everyone has to start somewhere. Just because someone paid $97 to get jr VIP doesn't mean they are any smarter than you. Hell, I'm an example. :nana:

Go to Fiverr.com and take a look at the gigs. Many people are banking with crazy and useless ideas. If you have any skill or ability you can place a gig too and earn $4 per order. Once you earn some cash you can afford a tool or domain/hosting. The good thing is that you found the true forum, dont be lazy and take a look at all sections. You can found many newbie related threads.

There are a lot of different things you can do to make money. Find an area you want to hit (look at sections in forums for ideas) and take action. The most important thing is to take action and DO something to make money.
Then, when whatever you are working on starts working well, scale it up and make more.

Heres a suggestion... Buy you a pair of reading glasses, the kind that reads between the lines! Learn as much as you can and then do not procrastinate- jump in to the action. And its a friendly forum full of great folks who's ready to help. Just don't ask to be spoonfed.

Personally, I would recommend building a base-knowledge of IM in general before dipping into strategies on BHW.

I'm new to this forum but I have been doing IM for almost 4 years, so I am more easily able to put plans into action that I see on BHW, which was what interests me about all the knowledgeable people here.

Get some basic know-how and then leech off some of the "newbie" methods on BHW, then graduate from there as you get comfortable, like I am currently doing myself.

Check out ShoeMoney. He beats around the bush and won't tell you how to ACTUALLY do anything, but he is a genius when it comes to the basics of marketing.

Find out what you might have an interest in IM wise. What do you want to do, adsense? CPA? clickbank? Just find a method you think might work and do it.

If you super newbie then try to research more and more...you will find lot of hype and learn which is really hype...and really real ....

I understand why so many people are making these kind of threads.

Why? The information from BHW was overwhelming them.

It really is overwhelming for a newbie at first. But as you get comfortable with the forum, you'll know what to focus on at this stage in your IM development. Just start reading things, pick up ideas here and there, and write out a plan of action. And then make sure you get to work on that! You may fail, but you'll learn a ton along the way. Don't be afraid to fail!

The temptation is to try something, give it a half-hearted attempt, see something else intriguing, lose focus, and then try to get to work on the other thing. Eventually, none of the projects will be completed.

The main ingredient missing from most (in life too) is the drive to take action. With so much information at our fingertips, we suffer from paralysis from analysis.

You sell a product for someone else, and they give you a commission for selling it. It's really a win-win situation. A CPA network is similar to an affiliate network, except you are promoting an offer instead of a product. So instead of promoting an ebook on how to make money through an affiliate network, you would promote an offer for how to get an iPad 2 for free as an example. There are pro's and cons to advertising both ways. Affiliate networks offer actual digital products(ebooks) that can pay you a pretty decent commission depending on the selling price of the product you are promoting. You might not sell a ton, but enough to make some pretty good money, especially if the product is hot right now. CPA networks have offers that are probably a lot easier to promote and generate income with. You choose the offer you want to promote, and then you advertise it. The down side to CPA(cost per action) offers is that they don't pay a lot usually, so you make your money in volume. I will give you real examples of both.

Affiliate Network Example
You can go to clickbank which is the biggest affiliate network in the world, and decide you want to promote a product called mymobilemp. It has a good gravity rating, which is one of the most important things to look at. The higher the gravity rating, the more popular the product is among affiliate marketers. It pays 60% commission, which obviously the higher the commission the more you make per sale. And it pays you $33.15 per sale. So let's say you advertise this product on Google Admob. The advertisements show up in cell phone applications, and people buy it. Here is an example of some numbers for this scenario.

Google Admob Advertising Budget: $50(Minimum Budget for Google Admob)
Cost per ad clicked: $0.06(Varies by how targeted you want your ads to be)
Number of clicks: 833
Percentage of sales made: 1%(which is very low, especially on cell phones which actually get a much better response than internet or email marketing)

Result: 833 clicks X 1%= 8 Sales
8 Sales X $33.15= $265.20 Profit
That is over 530% profit.

CPA Network Example
You could go to peerfly which is in the top 20 CPA networks. You decide you want to promote a Disney Vacation. It pays $1.60 per person who takes the action required by the company offering the promotion. It could be as simple as submitting their name and email, filling out a short form, signing-up for a trial of some sort, or signing-up for some type of paid membership. With Peerfly, you can sort your search results by what type of action the customer must take. Email and short forms are the easiest to profit from. But you can choose any of them though. Here are some numbers for this scenario:

Google Admob Advertising Budget: $50(Minimum Budget for Google Admob)
Cost per ad clicked: $0.06
Number of guaranteed clicks: 833
Number of People who complete the offer: 10%(for this example)

Result: 833 clicks X 10%= 83 Completed Offers
83 Sales X $1.60= $132.80 Profit
That is over 265% profit! Still not too shabby.

I can't say one type of promotion is better then the other, that's up to you. Obviously the Affiliate network seems to yield higher financial results, but your results could vary. The CPA offers yield more customers and it's easier to get them to take action where as promoting a product through clickbank, requires the customer to whip out their credit card and make a purchase instantly. You can google affiliate networks to find some good networks if you decide to promote a digital product(ebook). Clickbank is the biggest by far having paid out as of today over $2 Billion in affiliate commissions. You can also google CPA networks to find some good ones as well. Peerfly is very good though in my opinion.

Below you will find some advice when dealing with affiliate managers. Affiliate managers are the people who decide if you can join their affiliate or CPA network.
