I have a lot of rel=nofollow tags in my posts. I create rich content posts around 550-600 words. I've been stuck in pr0 for 6 months. However, I have been at the top of google for some time. I always thought that using rel=nofollow was okay when creating content. Now I read this post
    Code:
    http://searchengineland.com/friends-dont-let-friends-use-nofollow-77922
and I'm thinking of removing all of the tags. My site has around 75% no follow in the anchor texts. What are your thoughts on this matter?

There hasn't been a PR update in more than 6 months, which is why your PR is the same as when it started. I'm starting to wonder whether Google is planning to scrap this grading as it isn't really relevant nor accurate anymore.

If you want to just increase the PR, then go with high PR quality blog comments having PR 4+ and if you have budget then blog posts are also cool way.

Thanks guys, I haven't really obsessed over PR. I mostly focus on quality and originality of my content first. I've been trying to focus on DA more so.

Get Blog Comments from ACTUAL PAGE rank pages where you comment would be placed. Get some home page links..and you should get some decent pr after that..

PR hasn't been updated in over 6 months... Obsessing over pagerank is pointless as there is no way of accurately knowing if the "PR" sites you are getting links from still even 'have' pagerank.

Personally I think there will never be a PR update again

PR hasn't been updated in months and from what I've heard Google is thinking about scraping PR update releases to webmasters. PR is utterly pointless metric anyway, it was perfectly possible to get a decent PR by just blasting poor quality links from blogs at your site.

You are going to appear to be PR 0 until they update it visually. It is updated in real time behind the scenes, so at the end of the day unless you are selling links and need to use the PR as a selling point PR is pointless worrying about it.

You don't suddenly jump up the SERPs because Google updated the PR visually.
