I'm so confused, insane SERP data, can someone please help

Hey Guys,

Ok this is boggling my head and I feel like slamming it on my computer a handful of times.

I have a website with the "exact match keyword" in the domain name.

I did some natural backlinking to it and managed to push it to the #1 spot for my exact match keyword.

I build multiple pages targeting other keywords and managed to get into the top 5 positions for 5 different keywords

In an effort to secure that #1 spot for all keywords, I bought an Xrumer package here at BHW for 5,000 backlinks.

After those links came in my site PLUNGGGGGGEED.

So now I am ranked #1 for my main keyword still?

However, the other 5 keywords, that were not in my domain, are sitting 400+ in the rankings... now, I'm totally lost on why this happened, if I wan penalized why is my main keyword still sticking in the #1 position?

It just doesn't have any consistency.

Any body have an idea?

I've had this happen too, pretty much the same scenario as you. Exact domain and XRumer links, and a plunge. However main keyword still ranks.

Doesn't have much consistency, but at least you know its happened to me too, I have not yet recovered from the plunge.

Well at least that makes two of us...

I learned my lesson on Xrumer, was making $250 a day from my site before this.

Looks like I'll never try an Xrumer blast lol......

I don't think it's related to xrumer... i think it is more of a change in the search engine algo : "seobook exact-match-domains"
Looks like google gives less power to exact match domains... unless they become "brands".

Remi, if I'm reading correctly, he is still at #1 for his exact match domain/keyword. It's his secondary keywords he is no longer ranking for.

its just the dance, give them time to bounce back to where they were, whenever you have a site that receives a massive amount of backlinks in a short time its bound to happen...
