IM & paying taxes?

Is it harder to go undeclared (in the beginning at least) if I'm aiming for a white hat authority site?

The government does not care if the origin of the cash is white or black hat. Both are legal (assuming the end business is legal). Either way, if you're not paying taxes, you're evading.

Thank you all.
All of of your replies have been really helpful and more of your advises are welcome!

I'm going to go a bit off-topic here and ask the same question again. Is it harder to go undeclared (in the beginning at least) if I'm aiming for a white hat authority site?
Another off-topic but on-topic question in my case is why there are so many posts on BHW about how SEO is dead?

SEO is not dead,it's just a bit harder and smarter than before.
Blackhat money doesn't mean illegal money, as long as what you do is legal, you will be fine. Just because you build links to rank sites is not illegal at all,it's just against G TOS/Guidelines

Hey, I also have an question which I think OP will also be interested:
Let's say you invest $300 in seo services and such, you bring $1000 in total revenue.
Will whole $1000 will be taxed, or just $1000-300 = $700 will be taxed?
Also how can you prove them that you invested money and you only want PROFIT to be taxed?
Thanks.

It really depends on how your government work. If you're planning on going full time as I said, then yes, you will need to cash out that money for your everyday spendings and yes you will need to open a company or anything available in your country. That's up to you to decide what type of company you want to open based on your needs, gross revenues etc etc. If that's pocket money, then you keep it on paypal/payoneer etc. These are company based in offshore countries, and unless you're doing BIG business of illegal stuff, they won't provide infos to government.
How much "Pocket"-Money can you store on unverified paypal accounts? I heard that you maybe get frozen after too much transactions and you have to setup a cc/bankaccount to identify/reactivate it.

Use Bitcoins!

It's simple enough. It's very secure. The transaction costs are minimal. And no capital controls...
There are even some companies that offer Bitcoin ATM cards to easily cash out your Bitcoins (and those companies are not in Greece so capital controls should be no issue here either).

If you set up a business you can deduct 300 as costs, just keep the receipt incase they want proof.
So only the 700 will be taxed!

With taxes, whatever you choose to do, just make sure you do it 100% correctly. Professional help is worth what you pay for it, despite it hurting the wallet up front. Find a good lawyer or accountant and you find peace of mind, otherwise you're just kidding yourself.

Ask an attorney this question and you'll likely receive better answers than by asking random people on a Black Hat Marketing Forum.

Great question! Specially It depends on then governmental rules. If they think that they will get tax then they will cut it from your total balance.

Thanks for all your answers guys!
DylanKK, this sounds interesting but I don't know about BitCoin. Have never used it and I'm afraid I'm going to get scammed.

In the UK you can earn a certain amount without having to even register as self employed I believe?

In general though I think if you are serious about IM then you should do things properly otherwise it will just cause you hassle further down the line.

I would recommend getting a good accountant also as soon as you can - they you can do things fully above board whilst also being as efficient as possible when it comes to paying Tax.

different countries have different rules man. instead of talking to us, you should talk to a tax consultant in your own country or find an internet marketer from the same country

DylanKK, this sounds interesting but I don't know about BitCoin. Have never used it and I'm afraid I'm going to get scammed.

Here are some websites to get started:
bitcoin
bitcointalk
(I'm not allowed to post URLs - you need to append ".org" to both of the above.)
The latter is a forum. Nearly every website offering anything Bitcoin-related is discussed here and you can find lots of reviews.

In essence all you need is a wallet to receive (and send) payments (there are some wallet clients for various operation systems and there are online wallets - to find what is best for your needs, I suggest you look around the Bitcointalk forum).
Then you need to find for example a CPA network or affiliate network paying in Bitcoins . The rest of the job isn't any different from normal IM. For cashing out I would always suggest first ordering the ATM card from a provider with lots of good reviews, then testing that card by loading a small amount (for example 50 USD - or about 0,1 Bitcoin) onto the card and cashing out and only after a successful test you should fund the card with more Bitcoins.
You don't need to order a card or pay anyone anything before you earned some Bitcoin. The wallets are free to create and maintain. Only for sending money you will have to pay a small fee, but you can test everything (including the earning part) without paying anything.
