dog has lost 6 kilos in 3 months. 7 trips to vets, 3 blood tests, 3 scans
1 xray, various steroids , anti bio tics .ect there still stumped
kept in vets fri-sat took home sat evening . gave her IV, after 24hrs
of 12 water vomits she needed it, found she had urine infection so
anti biotics for that. since coming home sat, shes on 3 squares a day.
part fresh chicken part kibble and part dog food 3 times a day.
no vomit since last fri - water drinking has gone down, eating well,
fingers crossed for fecal results later this week >>> seems bit happier

I hope the vet figure out what's wrong with your dog. It looks like your dog is improving though from last update.

from the deepest part of my heart i sent your doggo good vibes. i have a gsd too and they are like family! we are here to help you figure out why she is losing weight. you can always contact me if you want me to post a help post on my gsd account on instagram. it has around 10k followers maybe the community can help you with her problem.

little update - back to vets next tue for visit no.8 in 3 and a half months
for a check on her weight and another scan.
eating is up - drinking is down - seems little better
see what next week brings.

A few years back when my dog had similar problems (vomiting, losing weight rapidly, howling at night) it turned out that she was allergic to a certain kind of grass, an (until then) unexplained case of keratitis allowed the vet to make the connection.
