IM: money vs. freedom

Which is more important for you: profit you make from internet marketing or freedom that attend with IM.

I think, in the beginning of internet marketing most important thing is bigger profit, but when you earn decent amount of money every month you starting to appreciate freedom that comes with IM. Freedom is very wide concept, but in money world it means always one thing: its freedom from 9-5 labour and you be your own boss.

I believe they are the same thing the way you are using the two words. If you consider freedom freedom of not having to do a 9-to-5 jobin the words money and freedom are interchangeable. I would rather consider freedom in a way that if freedom is a guaranteed human right. Not just freedom of press but also being free regarding possession of things. Then I consider freedom more important as you couldn't even have money without the freedom to possess money.it is kind of like the way you have to satisfy basic urges first before you can think about more individual needs.

I entered the world of Internet Marketing to find money as there were no jobs in my area at all for IT and plus my family had lost all there jobs due to recession. I needed to make money and I have succeeded thanks to the money the freedom with. No need to work 9AM-5PM like all of my friends I'm completely free for the whole day, I wake up in the morning and I've made more money than they earn in a month and I still have the whole day to do what I want to.

IM has given me the chance to support my family and thanks to it I still am able to this day - as they don't have jobs I can pay for there food, housing, rent and mortgages with ease and still have plenty of spending money I started making money online at exactly the right point it was nothing short of a miracle and thanks to that 3 of my family members still have houses over there head. The freedom that comes with IM is great - But its lonely as all my friends are still at work for the whole day but I wouldn't change it for the world I know I could never go back to having a boss and waking up 9-5 hating every second the Internet has made me a free man not a slave to anyone.

With freedom you have choices - Choices to do what you want, work how you want, enjoy life how you want, but then again the money gives you the freedom in the first place so my vote has to go to Money.

You are right. At the beginning it's about the money because without it there is no freedom. I started IM in Feb 2010. And I was making about $30 a month online and that was with a full time job that I was hating but was making good money. And I though myself that was not freedom because I was working to survive. Today almost one year later I just quit my full time job to put more time to IM making over $3000 a month that is 2x more than what I was making in my full time job. Guess what I have more freedom to do what ever I want to do. And I make money while I am doing what I love.

Hard work at the end pays off.

There is a saying I always go by:

"Love what you do and do what you love. Therefore you'll never have to work again!"

People in the USA and etc take FREEDOM For granted and Without freedom you can't make money. It's a horrible thing andI know what it's like to have freedom taken form you! DON'T Take it for granted fellas

What other job in the world lets you live anywhere in the world and wake up at any time you like?

Money buys freedom and more money buys happiness, at least thats what I've heard.

Happiness is what comes from contentment. So for everyone saying "I'd rather cry in my ferrari"...it's the contentment that you are buying not the happiness

I'll second that, I quit my job to go full time I.M, that gave me some freedom, but freedom isn't free, it costs (money).
