Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from those who are successful in SEO and now managing their own agencies.

I’ve seen people earning $4K–$20K (or more) per month by providing SEO services, but I’m nowhere near that level yet. I have experience and have achieved great results for my clients, but I’m struggling to onboard new ones consistently.

Some people have recommended cold outreach, DMs, and calls, while others suggest growing an organic audience. Both seem reliable, but I’m unsure which path to follow.

If anyone started as confused as I am now and figured things out, I’d really appreciate your guidance. Also, if someone would be open to mentoring me, that would mean a lot.

Thanks in advance!

Hey! Totally get where you’re coming from—it’s tough to choose a direction when both paths seem viable. My advice: start by leveraging your strengths. If you’re good at relationship building, focus on cold outreach but personalize it. If content creation feels natural, work on building an organic audience.

You could also combine both: use outreach to get quick wins while building your brand long-term. And don’t hesitate to network in SEO communities; mentorship often starts with genuine connections. You’ve got this!

The key is consistency.

Success in SEO is often a result of sustained effort, whether it's through outreach or organic growth. Try not to get discouraged, you're on the right path or you will, and every step forward, even small, will add up over time.

Focus on a hybrid approach: combine cold outreach for immediate results and organic growth for long-term client acquisition, while refining your niche to stand out.

try to master these two directions in turn, it may take a long time, but it's worth it, the main thing is to start doing
