Hello,

I do have a blog which getting about 2000 clicks a day - now since 3-4 days ago I started to notice much traffic coming from "Direct" as you can see in the following screenshot, and I know I'm not that famous blog so I'm sure people don't visit my website directly, specially it says about 1000+ clicks comes "Direct"

But please note it's not BOT, because I can see these people already buying whatever I'm offering in my blog, and my sales increased as well.

So those are real users 100% I believe - but also I believe 100% that they don't come "Direct" so can anyone here tell me what am I missing? or where these guys actually come from?

Thank you very much

Check the tracking of your funnel and see if you lose the traffic source somewhere along the way. If you have a complex funnel, this could be the reason. It happened to me as well a couple of times in the past.

It can be that visitors have more options to convert and they choose a different path that it's not tracked. Check all your links/buttons etc.

I guess you have to wait for some more days

Sometimes patience sets things right. This problem needs to be monitored. I've never encountered this, but I think it may just be a short-term bug.

Did you check in Google Search Console?

Maybe someone did a Youtube or TikTok video about the product you offer on your website and mentioned your website name in the video without leaving a link in the comments or wherever else.

Search Console doesn't track direct traffic.

i think you need to do some coding for referral traffic and install online chat service to talk to customers.
this way you will definitely know the traffic source.

Search Console doesn't track direct traffic.
Most likely this. Someone must have posted something about you on some social network, maybe reddit or something, and you're not aware of it.

Can you check the region where the direct traffic comes from?

You can get an idea about the source if you find it.

Analyze the backend data and tools that you are using in your site.

Looks like your site got picked up by Google Discovery. Connect it to the search console and see. A lot of it looks as if it's direct.
If that's the case, you should see a higher EPM for these days, assuming you are using Adsense.

In any case, congratulation!
https://www.direct.com/index.cfmIs this yours?

If you are sure that users is real, it is important to keep that state.
I 've visited your site and I think you will be the better to upgrade the some part of your site to keep the users.
No.1 enhance the SEO
I guess SEO of your site is not good
No.2 The fonts of settings is not clear.
