I tried to start IM when broke, but I wasted a lot of efforts knowing without any funds, it will be hard. What are your experiences?

you can still make money with free traffic/ social media. it is a lot harder and you do need better tools these days, however you can start just using your phone and home connection going slow to not get any of your accounts flagged.

What is the situation now? Though I agree with you, it is needed to have funds to start and maintain online work.

When you're on a tight budget, you gotta get creative. Focus on free or low-cost marketing strategies that can help you build momentum without draining your wallet. Think content marketing, social media, and SEO - these methods are like the ultimate hustle on a budget!

Did my first money online cold reaching people and flipping things on ebay.
Invested 10$ in a webpage and made 500$ in a month, enough to invest in more business. If you don't have the starting capital work a 9-5 for some months.

IM is for everyone, including those who own nothing in their bank account. A marketer must be deterministic to gain anything worthwhile on the internet.

Discipline is much more important than wealth.

Creativity, logic, strategy are important initially. But once you have decided on an approach, doing it over and over again even once it becomes mind numbingly dull, will determine if you find success or not.

I'd say the main thing people that are attempting entrepreneurial ventures struggle with, is sticking to one method and following through. Lots of people will shift tactics or methods too frequently, never really gaining any understanding in what they're trying.

An interesting tidbit I came across years ago highlighted how military experience often paved the way for individuals to excel as internet marketers. It's a surprising connection, but the inherent discipline instilled in them translates to focusing on one thing until the job's done.

Realistically nowadays free traffic is very hard and time consuming.
If you are completely broke Freelancing might be a better way to start earning

IM has a learning curve, and then you face failures, and then you start earning but it takes time to reach a stable income. Some people are either smart or get lucky to instantly earn a lot and brag about it. Everyone can't replicate their success. I suggest you to find an offline career or VA jobs or freelance work until you settle in IM.

You can sell your labor to get some initial money for your IM journey. Do some freelance work.

I'd say IM is not for lazy people.

:) Can't say that, even those people open a shop you never know they really profit or not every day or broke to maintain it.
