You can outsource, if you did not law ball it too much already - which kind of sounds like it as you do not seem to have a clue. There will most likely always be a problem with a project but that the main task being it because you do not know does not look too promising. Better refund then do a shitty job for some money. As you know your rep will be worth way more than $xxx one time and none thereafter.

I already did hire someone else... I'm not a scammer or a theif! I even explained to the client, and yeah it may hurt my future freelance work, but it was a mistake... and I planned to do everything with wordpress.com, and thought that wordpress.org was just as a simple!
 
Thanks! I did hire someone else, who helped me build the website for my client and is now teaching me how to use it myself. I planned to do everything with wordpress.com. It was a mistake on my behalf, and I'm still learning that is why I am always on BHW, because I recieve a lot of good advice from you all. I'm not a scammer or a theif, just a big misunderstanding and everything is resolved, the client is happy and so am I! Thanks!

I hired another web designer to work on this with me, and we split the profits... and he's also teaching me how to use wordpress.org. I even explained to the client, who was super cool and understanding, and everything turned out fine! The client is happy.

Thanks for the advice... and Luckily everything is resolved, and I hired someone else to help me out on the site and everything turned out good. This was a poor move on my behalf and I kind of rushed into it. I learned from it, and it will never happen again!

This reminds me of the old days when i tried to compete with lots of Indian freelancers - it was almost impossible.. But you made the impossible possible, but sadly, you realized it's also impossible. Arghh..

Glad you have found someone to help you with this task, but why stress out trying to outbid at least one project, when you might get bad rating or something for unqualified bids.. ehh

Next time, please, be honest with yourself, don't take up tasks without consideration.

First off, There is no problem anymore... The client is happy and was also informed about the mistake and misunderstanding and he was super cool and understanding. I hired a web designer to build the site and split the profits, and he is also helping me learn wordpress.org. I'm no scammer, and would have refunded his money back If was needed.
 
I didn't get this project off a freelance site, I actually ran into this guy who just opened his new nature store up the street from my house.

He already said that he resolved the problem and more than enough people told him that he shouldn't have done it in the first place. Everything has been said.

Look at the portfolio of the work too, it just gets funnier.
 
That how learning start by putting yourself beyond the limit. Last time was the same like OP where I take the jobs that doesn't know and pushing myself to pickup the skills faster. Glad OP can solve it and the client is happy about it :).
