got this email i'm probably being stupid but is this fake, because i doubt outlook would do this but just wanted to be sure?

please repost to correct forum i couldnt anything for this

Right click on the link and see where it sends you. That way you will know for sure.

Yes that's fake. Report it as spam.

Now, even if that was real; you could take microsoft to the court for this lol. I would rather let them delete my data, and sue them for a few millions.

It's obviously fake. Why would you think otherwise? You can check any link without clicking with an online screenshot tool like screenshot.guru and you'll know where it goes.

no it is real. it is sent from bill's own private email account. thank him for sending you this courteous email.

You always have to click on the source address, there always appears a redirection of a mailing list of the attacking email, what they do is to take a mailing list or database and forward it to an authentic email of a company and from there they are automatically forwarded so people fall because they only look at the last source.
