I'm driving to Cali tomorrow to go to the funeral....anyone else going? lol

I know a few of you might flame me for this but oh well....lol

lol I will be sure to ask....it's going to be 100 degrees and Im going to have to walk like 5 miles lol...oh well

That will be an experience, be safe.

Thanks:p I have one of those water bladders you wear on your back...im going to fill it up....After that were going to the beach and party it up...I got family there so it should be a good time

I just don't understand why everyone loves this guy so much. I mean the guy could sing and dance... no argument there. However, he was a child rapist(Anyone who thinks that he was unfairly accussed is delusional) and one of the most weird people in the history of the world. Over by me, everyone was all over by his childhood home and just going nuts when it happened. I just don't get it. Just because you can sing and dance and are rich does not forgive the stuff this guy did. I think he should have been in jail for the past decade and a half. For all the kids that publicly said he did these things, how many did he pay off, or their parents kept quiet because he bought them stuff, or the kid just kept their mouth shut because they thought he was their friend? He likely raped dozens of little, innocent, defenseless kids. I mean, I don't care how good he sings and dances, he is about the lowest form of a human being on the face of the earth. I am not trying to be a dick about you going, I mean do whatever you want to do that is cool. I just personally think the guy is the scum of the earth.

Anyone have any estimates on how many people are going to be there?

Epic proportions? maybe?

Like half a million lol...I think it would be cool 10 years from now to say that I went to MJ's funeral

steal his dead body and sell it on ebay

(totally fucked up thing to say) -- I love and miss MJ

'...We have to accept that our legal systems in the West assume we are innocent until proven guilty, beyond reasonable doubt, in a court of law by a jury of our peers.

Although we might not like, or agree with the outcome of a verdict, that's it! It's all we have! It's over!

In Michael Jackson's case, he was acquitted and so remains not guilty of all charges against him. This however does not make him innocent.

Whether you agree with the verdict, or not, is irrelevant, neither can you argue the, "No smoke without fire" theory.

While I agree it is strange for a 50-year-old man to share his bed with children, there is every possibility it was innocent as MJ was childlike in so many ways and while brilliant, he was also deranged.

While not attacking you personally, or defending Jackson, I do get a bit worried about the mindset of accusers when alleged offenders who go through due process of law and are found not guilty are re-judged and written about in such a vehement manner.

You cannot have a system where you keep re-trying an alleged offender until you get the verdict you prefer, whether inside or outside a court of law.

Michael Jackson was found not guilty and we have to accept the verdict.

I call BS on your accusations. I don't know what country you live in, but here in America, you are innocent until proven guilty.

He was acquitted of all charges.

MJ didn't want to deal with a long drawn phrenzy so he paid the money hungry family to go away.

I'm sure MJ would have paid the 2nd accusers off too but it was IMPERATIVE that he defended himself that time to shut up people like you.

You beat me to it.

Yes it might be strange to you that an adult would sleep in the same bed as a kid, but mike didn't see himself as an adult. He longed for the childhood he never had and things that he never got to do as a child.

Have you ever read/saw peter pan? the hook? Watch the movie and you'll understand MJ's actions .

Well, I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion. I have no problem with that. I am from right next to Gary, Indiana. My parents both grew up within blocks of where they lived. He is idolized around here like you wouldn't believe. I know that a person is innocent until proven guilty, but the system is flawed. I do believe this is the best legal system in the world, but money equals the ability to get away with shit. The system is good, but not perfect. OJ must have been innocent too. The fact of the matter is that he was accussed many times and that doesn't just happen to a poor innocent guy. I know he got away with it when he was charged and before in 93 he wasn't even charged and him and Johnny Cochran paid off that family. How many other people did he pay off. Fine, I admit he never went to jail, but I am certain he is guilty as can be. I mean if you want to overlook that because he was rich and could sing and dance, then fine. I, however, think that raping kids makes a person the scum of the earth. OJ was innocent too. I have to overlook it because I am black. The staggering amount of evidence means nothing because I liked him in football, The Naked Gun, he is black, and oh yeah, Johnny Cochran got him off. It is just my opinion and if you disagree, that is cool. We are all entitled to that opinion, but I think he was scummy as hell(Where he is at right now btw).

guys ....i dont see a bad part of him ...his achievement is more than the sky ...a trend setter , we can say music before mj n music after mj ...he is a revolution ...u agree or not he is the most popular man in the world ....he is inspiration to many ...i heard the celebs saying this like beyonce ,usher, cris brown n many more .....mj has become an history ...

Because of people like you, there are thousands of innocent people in jail because they want to convict someone on opinion rather than evidence.

OJ can't be used in your argument because he is irrelevant to this case. He got off on a technicality because of planted evidence.

There was no evidence to convict MJ. The only evidence people had is their opinions and a accuser. That is not guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, and my reasonable doubt is this,

When I was little, I had sleep overs where we all slept in the same bed, does that make us gay? Hell no it doesn't. MJ was a child stuck in a grown mans body.

"Patrick Waller was convicted of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery and cocaine possession in connection with a 1992 kidnapping and assault. He is the 18th man in Dallas County cleared of a crime by DNA testing."

Just imagine how many are not so lucky.
