Im going to die if i cant do this in excel!!

Hey Folks...

I desperately need help from someone who knows about excel.

I have a list of 5000 address, all of which are contained within 1 column on the spreadsheet.

The addresses in row are in various formats such as....

1, fake street, fake town, fake county,g12 6tg
1, fake street, fake county,
and so on....

There are numerous towns and cities within the addresses, and basically i need a way to find out, how many towns and cities are there in the list, and how many addresses there are within those towns and cities.

Ive tried formulas, sorting, filtering, but im getting nowhere fast and i need someone to please help me...please....help me
