This is so very true! I grew up dirt poor and hungry. When I was 14 I was buying the groceries for my parents and my 5 brothers and sisters with babysitting money. I thought I had it so bad (sniff, sniff, tears...) It took me 10 years to pay my way through college and even then wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my world. Finally about 8 years ago I had an idea and developed a website that became very successful. Next week it is being sold for more money than i ever imagined having at one time.

I realize my childhood adversities made me who I am today! I wouldn't change one damn thing in my world. I have 5 siblings who love me and still think of me as mom (although I have informed them that they WILL be taking care of me when I am old I'm a successful single mom with a great life who does exactly whatever she wants whenever she wants.

Read, read and read some more. Every single thing you need to know to be successful is in print or on the net. Never stop reading. If you think what you are reading is just a sales pitch or marketing ploy, then keep reading and learn something from that. There is knowledge to be gained in everything around you.

The simple fact is (ok, this is the psychology major in me talking...) what you believe about yourself is what you will become. What you become will determine what you think about most. You decide where your future lies...NOBODY ELSE.

OK, now...

1. Give yourself a good kick in the ass. You have spent enough time complaining.
2. Run a mile every day and get all your bad feelings out into something constructive.
3. Make some goals. Where do you want to be in 6 months? 1 year? 5 years?
4. For now, pump gas, bag groceries, mow lawns...but for God sake support your mother.

6. Be grateful for what you have because many people have it a hell of a lot worse!

Corey, question #1: You're 19, why are you not in school?

Question #2: I heard this same complaint from you a few months ago on RJ. What were you doing over the past few months?

Question #3: On RJ, a few people gave you some decent ideas on how to flip $20 or $40 into more money doing a WSO. Why didn't you do that?

Question #4: You are clearly interested in the porn/adult niche. But you keep spinning your wheels by uploading porn to Youtube. Why would you keep doing this if its not making you money? For kicks?

If you want to learn adult there are several people here and at RJ that specialize in that and I'm sure would be able to help you.

Only thing is, I'm not sure you really want any help...

Yeah the money part is cool but your mark is on your siblings and your kids, money can't provide the will you show them.

Well Corey first you need to give up looking for a gimmick that will just make you a sh*tload fast and end your problems. You'll just dig yourself deeper.

Build something that has real value. Something that gives other people what THEY want, not just what you want. If you help them get what they want, you'll get paid to be the hero. If people want porn, give those people porn and the porn companies will pay you. But do it with longevity. Don't just try to come up with a quickie gimmick every day.

Yup, these guys all have it right. First you must read, read, read. Don't just download the pdf's you find here and let them collect dust on your hard drive. This place is like the frickin' land of Oz. Search back through the past 6 months of posts and you will find more ways to make a buck or two than you will know what to do with.

After you READ, you must DO. DO something...anything...just try it. Hell, I try a couple of things each month...some of them make me some cash, some of them make me LOSE some cash. It's the only way to find out what you're good at and what will be a good earner for you.

What things are you knowledgeable about? Write some articles. I've written some articles for Associated Content that paid me $8 each.

Try a little PPC with AdWords to a good Clickbank product. CAUTION: Go slowly with this method. You can make some dough or you could lose your shirt.

Build a little website around a Clickbank product after you've tested the market using the method above. I've built a little white-hat site this week and I don't know jack about building a website. I just did a Wordpress install on the domain name and now I'm marketing the hell out of it using forums, Comment Hut, AdWords, Article Submitter, etc. It's getting about 100 hits a day so far. Might be great, might be shit, but at least I tried it out.

Just try a few things. Start DOING.

sorry to hear those things, i really hope things get better soon with u.

well, u might try some "find a job" websites, to see if u can get freelance work. there are many out there. i dont know how much time u can invest on working as a freelance.
u can always approach websites by offering them x hours of work weekly for y amount of $$, all depending on what u want to do, i mean what skill u have and how many hours u can put into working as a freelance.

imo i dont think its a good idea at this moment to work on an own small project, if u dont have luck, u might not make enough. so try writing ur resume to some companies, as an seo or whatever ur specialty is.

Well, I just now read all the responses, and i'm not in school because I don't want to go to college. I'd rather live off internet marketing.

The videos I upload to YouTube are just strip teases or "sexy" videos, nothing porn or nothing's shown. I've been working on it quite hard lately trying different things. I was going to try torrents but for some reason my ISP won't let me seed torrents even with ports forwarded.
