Thanks! Good to see someone successful is giving back to the BHW community.
Both your ideas are equally excellent. For the money part, it would be very useful for me, to help with hosting, advertising, etc.
If you decide to go for the coaching thing instead, I would also be interested, I'm sure you have some valuable ideas and infos.
Like some people mentioned in posts before me, why not do both, like split the offers half-half, offer some coaching ideas (doesnt have to be one on one, could be videos, guides, etc) and some funds to help people get the projects off the ground.
Once again, great to see someone helping others, when I have more success, I will definitely also help others in whichever way I can.

Time has always proven to be a better teacher than anything else. Only through TIME can one eventually come to means thus bettering their comprehension upon any particular subject. Sure you can give me money and let me buy some stuff, but then I'll ask you for some more money. If you teach me to make money myself, then I could be the one to give YOU some in time of need. Yeah... I'm generous like that.

I agree with ProtoProtoss.

Personally, I don't think you should hand out any money at all.

Valuable coaching is priceless.

Coaching - by Far,...any information that I can gain to better myself is worth more than dollars.
I've been "self-taught" at a lot the things in my life; playing bass, html coding, car repair. Technically, I've always been able to read a book, take some instruction and run.
So, if Geddy Lee called up and said, "Hey, I want to show you some tricks to make you really rock on your bass". Um, duh...I would be down for that.

As a N00b of epic proportions....I know that I do not know. I would have to say coaching/mentoring from somebody like yourself would be most beneficial.

Coaching of course I'm 100% sure its more valuable than any hosting or domains...

Great post Nevarc! Like most of you folks agreed, time and coaching is of utmost value but this is what I'd think.

Nevarc, feel free to consider these options but it involves honesty on the part of the person who is given the opportunity. Trust is vital as everyone stands to gain from this.

a) Currently broke and/or no other source of income:-
70 - 80% coaching; 20-30% startup capital. But use this as a way to boost your venture in whatever way and when you make back the money given to you, do yourself proud and give it back to Nevarc. This is fair and just and its rewarding for Nevarc to see that you've made it and willing to give him back the money he gave you to start up your venture. Unless, of course, Nevarc himself says you can keep it, then by all means. But that I leave it to Nevarc to decide.

b) Already have another source of income/looking to grow bigger:-
No doubt about it. Coaching, coaching and more coaching. Simply because you already have money to know what and how to make it grow once the knowledge has been bestowed upon you.

But here is the most important thing I believe should happen. This generous offer promotes trust and a new relationship in the making. Perhaps whoever get the chance, you folks could all work together for the benefit of everyone and in turn pass on the knowledge acquired. Wish this would manifest for those who really need a guide. Myself, included.

Cheers. And once again great work, Nevarc.

Coaching is THE choice!

Money is much less value than 1-st hand knowledge about HOW to make the money.

Nevarc! that is wonderful, it is very nice of you to offer such an education .
I Say Coaching for sure! and I would love to learn as much as I can on the topic,

When is the deadline for this and when will the lucky individual be chosen?

FUCK. I voted Money by accident.

Yea, time would be great. I'd love to have some coaching.

I chose time. I could use all the help, all the guides and all the hints in the world :D
