I'm getting tons of weird fake bot comments for every new post

For a few days now we get lots of fake comments and likes instantly whenever we upload new posts. I haven't ordered any service doing that. Some comments are even the same comments on different posts coming from different usernames (e.g. 'Dope brother keep up the good work').

While it's nice to see some more engagement, I'm no big fan of faking it because I believe it will hurt us in the long run. Should I be worried, what should I do?

Not much you can do about that. Are they from the same accounts each time? If so you can block the individual ones but if it's from a service most likely these are all different each time.
 
It's worth to contact technical support and describe the problem I guess.
 
IG is botted to death.

Yesterday i created one account. Followed a celebrity - got 3 hot chicks following me. haha

Hey thanks for the fast reply. I don't understand why someone or some random service would do that. We never ordered it. No it seems the usernames are different for each post.

Do you believe it will hurt my account?
 
It's not a service, it's people using bots like MP/Jarvee/FL that are trying to grow their accounts by commenting on posts...it's a very common thing. The people commenting must have used your account or the hashtags you use as a source for their bots.
 
i taught same myself, this seems to be forum bot who donot actually take the necessary time to read your thread before double-posting bunch of comment(s)

Thanks for your input. I doubt that, I know these comments you are talking about, we sometimes get a few of those. However the ones I'm getting now are literally 15 comments in the first 30-60 seconds after I post a new post. Also in those recent posts where I got the comments I just used one (different) hashtag each.
 
So you're all saying it's nothing to worry too much about?

I think you're getting those by simple reason:

You follow a profile or some profiles that are being used as target accounts with automation tools(comment on the followers of target accounts).
I mean if you follow the target account XXX and the profiles YYY and ZZZ are using automation tools and target the followers of the profile XXX that you're following, few or many of the accounts that use that target account XXX will comment on your post probably.

That is what I think by own experience.
