    So I filed my taxes last night and I am receiving $8100 back from federal this year. I was thinking that it might be smart to invest into some kind of business venture for the long term. I know it's not much money but are there of any you who may have a suggestion as to what would be the best investment, white or black hat, to receive the most ROI?

    I am game for almost anything. :)

    OMG!!! This post is sooo bad lol ^^^

    Well BigMACK if I were getting $8100 back. I would use it for SEO for a CPA page/blog. Also SEO for a couple of Adsense blogs (auto blogs).

    You would save ALOT of that cash and make a longterm investment.

    Get SEO services from people here. Some fancy landing page designs, xrumer blasts, some social bookmarking signups, some article submissions, youtube video with views boosted.

    You should make sure you do not get $8100 back next year :). That is way too much money to loan to Uncle Sam. Buy some toys here on BH.

    LOL nice idea :D

    Hell I can get married perfectly with that amount of $$ in my country :)

    Well with that amount of cash, you can do almost anything.

    1. Get into CPA and run PPC advertising with Google and YSM

    2. Hire some to make you tons of sites, get them going and sell them on sitepoint for 400 - 1000% ROI ;) (web-flipping)

    3. Get a few EPN accounts, get into JV with a cookie stuffing expert and start cookie stuffing :) Many experts here on bhw :cool:

    4. Start a membership site and get paid every month selling them stuffs. Niches : Body-building, golf, football, music related stuffs...get those popular ones. Get a few guys to promote the site for you on myspace, facebook and other membership sites.

    5. Try forex out too.... get someone expert in forex and do a jv with him...
    ( If you want to do forex let me know - I can refer you :D )

    There is a lot of things you can do, tons of methods on this forum :) Outsource the minor jobs and go big because you have enough cash to start something big. All d' Best!

    The best will be CPA and PPC advertising = legal and whitehat but you need to learn PPC well before starting it because it's risky.

    Membership sites will be good too, but it takes time to build up. Safer and long-term profit.

    Save it, and use some of it on the ideas suggested. You are going to need to hold onto all the money you can in the next couple of years. :)

    wanttosucceed, how long do you think the recession will be?
    And you think it will get any worse then it is now?

    Also, since we are all in a recession.. What is the best way to make money?
    PPC?

    And do you think PPC will stay for ever, or in a few years it might be something different?

    I'd rather say go buy a couple of websites and be happy (cause recession = lower ad revenue = prices for websites are lower). Besides you're gonna make like 5%+ on your money every month.

    i'll support that too...

    buy some automated site that you dont need to spend too much time on...

    u'll make your money back in a year n then profits! websites are a gr8 investment that most of the people dont look as a investment class! so it yields a very good return!

    My best recommendation would be use part of that money to learn PPC, once you get the hang of it and find profitable campaigns, simply keep on investing the rest as you find more winning campaigns and keep on scaling. Head over to WF and check out the PPC advice there.

    I would personally do something that can be somewhat residual and stable in the long term, unless I knew of some really good quick ways to multiply that money. This can be buying traffic somehow (ppc/ppv; even offline), buying a WH website, or some automateable creative project.

    $8k????

    I would put some of the money into Vanguard (.com) securities.
    -> $1k in a TIPS funds
    -> $1k in small CAP fund
    -> $1k in a large CAP fund
    -> $1k in a common stock fund
    -----$4k used

    pay off $2k of your highest interest credit debt, set aside $1k for a vacation, and $1k for investing in your business.

    just a thought
