I'm finally ready....

Hey Guys!
I have been playing with SEO for the last 6 years. I say "playing" because I always seem to be looking for what to do, but never seem to follow through.
I have 3 paid SEO clients, but I know that there is so much more out there. I know a lot of the terminology and I have a basic understanding of the world of SEO. I guess I am most disappointed that I am not a boss by now.
So, I will study, ready, and implement until I someday become a boss like you guys. Thanks for all you do. I have read enough posts to know that it is a helpful community. I'm looking forward to learning and then someday paying it forward.

6 years and 3 paid clients is good start for working, not playing

Thanks. I'd like to start getting serious though. And I mean serious money. I would guess that a lot of you are making thousands of dollars per year. I am shooting for 10-20 clients paying me $500-$1000 per month on subscription. Or building up my own niche and getting some of that business. I'm going to go with what I know at first, but I'll take suggestions along the way. I've already picked up some good information from @lightningblitz and @splishsplash. It's a little conflicting, but knowledge is power. Thanks for the support.

Good luck on your journey dude. If you already have 3 paying clients thats a good start. think of those as your platform to learn - if it were me I would be over investing in their sites a) to do an exceptional job and b) to really make the most of that income to learn and find out what works and what doesnt - then when you get your next clients you will have a formula pinned down.

Even if it was playing, you must have gained some nice experience during those 6 years. Use the moment of inspiration now to build you work ethics, so working hard (and smart) becomes a vital part of your daily routine.
