Making BHW a healthier place... I messed up, have a tub of jellies in front of me all morning!Day 6, still no sugar.
Started slowly dropping carbs to a minimum as well.
whoaaaa, 130kg, absolute unit.but yeah, the boomerang effect is something that needs to be taken into account when going this path.
No, they are all high in carbs and I will stick for a no-carb diet called keto.
3L coke, even if light, is just too much, your decision is smart. I dont think I'm addiccted to caffeine tho, always when I have enough sleep and not abused it, I have no problems going w/o it the next day. I've fixed this by not taking caffeine after 12 PM because after 8-12 hours only 50% of the caffeine has left your system. If I abuse it and drink it too late, I have bad sleep and the next day I crave coffee again to be able to function.
I'm cutting sugar and 90% of carbs, minimal cardio, I hate cardio, better prefer strength training.
Good thinking, switched to black only today, thank you!
You should try to find enjoyment in different activities, I have the same problem as you and it probably comes from some sort of level of depression/burnout. I can only advise finding professional help in this matter, no need for anything fancy, few therapy sessions could help you to understand what is going on. Food is just a fuel, we shouldn't find comfort in it.
Can you quote me on "fruits are bad for health"?
The last time I tried low-carb stuff was about 3 years ago, I did find a recipe for low-carb pizza, it was tricky to make but oooooh boi the end result was superb haha
Both are incredibly bad for health, try to decrease at least the coke.
Have no idea but I think both are not very good for you in terms of health benefits. of course if the coffee is the only place you use it, it's not that bad. But if you take sodas on top of that, other sweets, etc etc, it adds up quite fast.
Join in! start tomorrow and let's keep each other accountable!
Why wouldn't you join in too? let's start tomorrow and let's keep each other accountable haha
Good thinking! You gave me a great idea, will pick up sports drinks which are high on electrolytes, thank you!!
As I suggested above, join the battle
Join me and post your daily progress here. It sounds like you should try to limit your ability to order things, delete those apps and try to make healthy food available to you for a couple of days, e.g. make a larger amount of meals premade, it will help you to get off the trash food and when its done you can move further and cancel sugars/sweets and so on. How much stress you currently have in your daily life?
Forum will not allow you to edit your posts in about 30 minutes or so
I'm going into keto, which means no sugar at all, including one that is in fruits.
I do use B6 and other groups, probably that is why I do not have super hard cravings this time quitting sugar.
You can keep using sweeteners but do it in a way that is good for you, e.g. check stevia it's sweeter than sugar, even looks the same but it's way healthier than sugar itself.
Amazing! Sounds like you are highly aware and self-cautious.
That's great start and can highly impact your life quality!
The steaks are great!
4-6 cups is really a lot, I would worry more about sleep problems because of this, with that amount of caffeine my night sleep is very distracted and low quality.
Gonna get a proper start at it tomorrow - can feel my teeth eroding
