I'm currently choosing between two premium domain names for my Ecommerce site. All the websites in competition against have aged domains of at least 5 years old, some even 10+. So I'm better off paying a small sum to speed things up...
However, I'm stuck with which one to buy (im probably been pedantic here, but any advice would be appreciated)...
The differences are:
Domain 1:
Matches the phrase I'm targeting
Is about 15 years old!
Has been on sale since it was registered 15 years ago
Has 0 referring domains
Domain 2:
Matches the phrase I'm targeting (not quite as good as the first domain though)
Is about 8 years old
Was used in the niche for 4 years - is this a factor I should be concerned about? Will this work in my favour if Google is already familiar with the website?
Has about 11 referring domains now, in 2014 it had over 125. The remaining links it has look rather average
Which would you go for?
