i'm building the next Instagram, post your suggestions below for what you want it to have. Of course, it will have high organic reach as number one priority.

#7 public numbers
#8 search by location + key word
#9 show thumbnail when linking out in post
#10 females (brings the males)

#12 show views on hashtags/etc. Instead of posts (like tik Tok, makes it look bigger)
#13 no deleted accounts unless it's illegal actions
#14 messaging system
#15 explore/discovery page

#16 supply an action bot in your app, for lazy / busy users/marketers. Charge a small fee monthly to cover your costs

Building the next Instagram meaning? A platform similar to Insta but better for blackhatters? Hope you got the marketing budget to pull that off!

No ads at the beginning. Why? Cause ads are not cool and signals low quality for a new social media site.

Just one (crazy) suggestion:

Let us BHW members do whatever we want with the accounts we open, without being limited by the IP address to open multiple accounts, and without having to buy proxies and softwares and nothing similar to use your service. It would be great to have that kind of privilege.

No more shadow bans

If you ask here everyone is going to think about features for making money off of it xD which is good for everyone here but what about the normal user experience.
I don't know if you are really planning to build the next Instagram or it's just a phase but..

My suggestions :
Do allow botting without action blocks but place limits (So people focus on quality more than quantity).
Allow original content creators (NOT curators) to place ads before people viewing their content (Just like Youtube does).
Ads to pop up once in 10 posts.
Links in posts for people with good but with authentic engagement rate.
Just like FB has pages give another type of account with different features for General Niche,Brands,Services etc.
Split main feed to 'Friends' and 'Pages'.
Take a survey of users interests during sign up but for ads so they don't get annoyed with something they don't like.
Create an incentive or prize pool of some sort for content creators so they all work on their content more.
Hide no. of likes for personal accounts or normal users and show no. likes for content generating accounts.
Better dark mode than IG's.
I love IG's update on removing the following tab from the notifications more privacy, less stalkers and paranoid people in relationship you can add that too.

I think the best social media network will be something that strikes a good balance in satisfying both normal users and people who want to make money.

I will, to a certain extent. We need some kind of control otherwise the site will be FULL of spam.

I can't let you do "whatever you want" but I will allow bots to a certain extent.

We can still show ads inbetween posts that have high organic reach. We just won't limit posts to 1% of your followers to "see if its interesting before allowing it to reach more". Instead, we'll show it to everyone. Just like Facebook 6 years ago.

I don't seem to have the same issue as others. If the content is good, you should have no issue reaching more organically.

How will you make people use it unless you have millions of dollars to spend on marketing?
