i'm afraid

hey guys i'm working on my own website, and i just noticed i have 2 users who subscribed to my website, the thing is i never showed my website to anyone and i only wrote 3 articles in it, why would these 2 users subscribe i have no idea, maybe there are people who stalk new website ? i dunno

p.s: i need a person or 2 to review an article ( to check my writing skills & give me a feedback maybe )

Subscribe in what way? Through a e-mail optin? Donno, why you would be afraid for, don't you want subscribers?

I highly doubt he managed to get an auto responder set up at this point. Probably means a registered user for comments or something

someone told me about email marketing, but why would someone subscribe to a website that is still under-constraction, thats suspecious for me :ziplip:

Is it a Wordpress website? They may be bots.
Also set up Google Analytics to monitor acquisition.

2 people subscribed to my website at almost the same time, there is 20 min between each registration

You're worrying about nothing, as blackerthanblack said, probably just bots. Besides, what harm can come from subscribers?

how does google analytics work, i made the account and related it to my website, i gave my website to couple of people but ut still didnt detect any traffic from them (my friends)

Did you copy the google analytics code into your header.php (or used a GA plugin)?
If no, that's the reason.

Piwik is another alternative if you can't figure out how to use Google Analytics. But as IMpossible stated you might have messed up including the javascript into the page.

He is a newbie, don't mislead him. Its normal for newer sites. Every site gets checked by FBI and CIA. Those 2 subscribers were probably from there and wanted to make sure that you are not breaking any law by making a grammatical mistake.

Yup - comment spam bots. They're out scouring the web constantly. You will get more of them in time. It just happens those data miners were the first to find your site. It probably means you got listed on G. They had to have found you somehow.

They intend to sell SEO to you.. it happens all the time. Just delete them

I recently bought 2 domains and didnt buy the privacy.. what a mistake that was.
I started getting overseas phone calls from people wanting me to use their services

I afraid to tell you this, but this is the last hope for humanity. Shut down the site and never touch your laptop/desktop again. The two subscribers are satan and they are trying to destroy humanity by subscribing to your site. Save yourself and close the site asap.
