Hey y'all.

So I'm absolutely bummed out right now. I've managed to get up to 200 unique visitors per day on my niche site through ranking top in Google. I've worked some clickbank products into my articles, sold about 1 per week... But I was expecting more. I know I'm a total noob here, but I guess I'll learn.

What is the problem?

I need more traffic? I need to write better? The products are crap? Arrrgh. I realise I can't get much help without giving my website and revealing my niche... Not sure if it will matter as it must be a crap niche anyway if it's not making any money ha ha.

Maybe time to try a new product?

Maybe your keywords are wrong. Are you ranking for buyer keywords and "product name" keywords... like "product name review" etc. ??

You should be getting at least 1-2 sales per day with 200 visitors if the traffic is targeted and the copy (and design/layout) on the landing page is good.

Look at your Google Analytics....see how long the traffic stays on the website, how many of them bounce and use the stats to improve the site.


Don't give up until you have found out WHY... otherwise you will have wasted your time (make sure you always learn your lesson before you move on to something else - unless you want history to repeat itself).

Why be bummed? You've achieved the hardest part!

Ranking and getting 200 UVs a day is a massive challenge, now you've got the traffic you just have to find a way to monetize that.

You say you've been working products into your articles, is that product review articles?

Whats the layout like? Maybe your current design isn't one that converts.

No need to be at a loss, spend a few hours thinking, swapping some things around, creating a better converting sales page, who knows, tomorrow you could start getting your 2-3 sales a day if you make the alterations!

There is one ancient golden rule, if your traffic is targeted and your copy is good you should get at least one sale per 100 visitors. Work on your conversion.

Sell what sells, I sell gambling because when people click on your link they actually want to gamble. There is no real need for them to shop around like there is when selling products, they simply want to blow their money and they do.

always overlooked in businss.

The fact is is 10,000 people are doing the same thing..no hard work can overcome this.

I completely disagree. Work smarter instead of harder and trump your competition with something better. Do they answer their phones & email within 1 hour? If so, then do it in 1 minute. There are ways to rise above the competition. you just have to be smart and look for the one thing that makes you stand out!

80/20 rule. Research on keywords adwords competition. Nowadays I only choose high adwords competition keywords with easy to medium ranking difficulty level.
