After successfully selling my items on ebay, another problem has arose. The products, which were softwares, were counterfeit. I know I shouldn't trust beltal.com to have original softwares cheaply. I'm stupid, don't need to remind me that. Apparently, after my customer complained that I'm guilty of theft by deception, I refunded his money without thinking. Yeah, I should only refund when he asked to. He never replied my message, and return the product. What a sucker. Lost my 152 dollars (pure profit).

I found out that he is a law practicioner. Man, I'm screwed. Glad I'm not in Uncle Sam's country. Guys, don't do like I do ==> Especially the refund part. :goodnight

How do you know he is a law practicioner? Cuz he threatened you, or you researched him?
 
That's why you research your customers before shipping any item.
 
I did a lil' research about him, google his name... and BOOM! And I'm not mentioning his name here for (my) safety reason. I'd emailed another of my customer to inform him about the counterfeit item shipped. He shipped back to the supplier's address, and guess what? He also leaved a positive feedback and replied back to my message about how he appreciated my honesty. Of course, a refund would be on the way too (>_<). We need more buyers like him.

You did the right thing by refunding him instantly, it prevented it going any further.

If it seems to good to be true on the net, it probably is. Can't say I'm surprised. It's your own fault.
 
If it was Rosetta Stone software there is some scammer going around bidding on competition and then not paying to leave you a negative review. You have to wait 7 days for a non-payment then have Ebay remove the negative comments. He leaves messages like he is a lawyer or the software is fake contact him. Just another attempt to hassle competition. I hate Egay.

But if you didnt refund his product then what would happen?Paypal limitation if your using that..

Lucky you aren't in the states since that could have caused some troubles anyways lesson learned and now you are one experience richer - Got to see it from the positive point of view always! :)

Ebay is really egay. They are saving just buyers, seller haven't any rights. I lost a lot of money just because they believe in everything what buyers say.

That sucks and thanks for letting us know. This serves as a valuable lesson for upcoming guys like myself.
