Yes, Just getting thing done even in a slow pace, will put you ahead of all the 'smarter' well read aspiring marketers out there. I've personally met Chia and Mike F and they do take action immediately. Consequently though, chia failed 7 long years, before becoming a successful marketer. :)

For sure I know the feeling.
I am still there sometimes even now.
It is condition when it is all input and no output.

The thing that helped me a lot is
"The Getting Things Done" by Dave Allen.

The name of the game is to actually get something done.
 
We know we have to get something done, no need to read a book that tells you how to get things done.
The people who dont get things done are the ones that lose out ;)

I read that and thought "Man, that is very blatant soliciting!"
As a retired teacher it reminded me of how helpless and hopeless people can be when they are trying to learn something new. I recall teaching a class of adults how to use a computer, and how some of them would practically want the tutor to do everything for them. Some fell into the completely 'hopeless' category which meant it didn't matter how much tuition they were given they just couldn't grasp the concepts.
Others were in the 'helpless' camp and practically required the tutor to sit on their lap and guide them step by step all the way.
Thankfully, the majority listened, learned, then applied.

I do know that we all learn differently. V.A.K. Comes to mind. Those that learn by looking (V as in visual), those that learn by listening (A as in auditory), and those who learn by doing (K as in kinesthetic). Also there are those who are left brain (analytic) and those who are right brain (creative). Here at Black hat World we have all types of people with various ways of learning. I for one learn best from seeing (my wife argues that one as I can never find anything), with a smattering of doing.

Like The Scarlet Pimp I too have a load of PDF books gathering e-dust :)

I've only been active on BHW for a little bit, and I'm getting PM's also?
Some are great questions, some are just "help me make moneyzzz" WTF?
I'm just as guilty as the next guy for having way too much stuff to review. But at some point you have to dive in and take ACTION!

Since I've been active on BHW, I've learned more about how to make money online than all my combined years (since 1999). The info on this forum is gold.
I learned the hard way, by doing. Those starting today, this minute, have a big leg up compared to when I started.

Here's a tip for the noobs...stop going for the big payday.
make a site that makes $1 a day...now go make 1000 more.
If you actually did some of the things on this forum, you could make a killing, way beyond $1 a day. But you have to take the first step.

Too many people are chasing after a "jackpot-o-gold" when they should be looking for the gold coins. It's better to have a decent amount of cash coming in from several sources, rather than a large amount coming in from one source.

Remember what happened when Adsense smacked everybody with Smart Pricing? Many people had all their eggs in that basket, and they got the shock of their lives when they saw their next Adsense check. :eek:

The world will always be full of people that want someone to walk their baby nuts around the block. I was a counsellor for a number of years and you wouldn't believe the amount of babynut idiots I had to listen to.
