I nearly shot my load seeing the apparent price of BabyDogeCoin at over $1 at numerous sites. I have 40 billion of these

I logged in to Gate.io and all I have is $50 usd, hahaha.

So, what's this all about?

Most wallets and exchanges use the CoinmarketCap API to get the price of tokens which is then displayed on their websites/apps. CMC currently has some form of bug or has been hacked hence, it is supplying incorrect prices when the API is queried by these exchanges/wallets. That is why you might be seeing incorrect prices of tokens on your wallet/exchange.
