I'm a click bank affiliate but i noticed..

I set up 4 campaigns for 4 products on Adwords yesterday. I generated a lot of keywords for each campaign (per CB product) by using Adwords Keyword tool. It came up to about 6-7 pages of keywords per campaign. I cut out the ones I felt weren't targeted.

It has been two days and two product campaigns haven't gotten any clicks at all, and it's obvious that Adwords hasn't been showing them either, while the other two got some clicks - 23 clicks at $15 and 13 clicks at $9 yesterday. I didn't mind paying that much for the clicks because the products are about $30 and I make a 75% commission per sale. I have also checked all campaigns periodically to make sure that the max bid is always being offered for all the keywords.

For the products that got 23 hits, I cut out the keywords that weren't performing and narrowed down to performing keywords -same trend today no effects/changes.

I also looked in my CB account and noticed Hops are present for all 4 of them, even for the ones that ads aren't showing for at all. There are twice the Hops than actual clicks for the ones that showing and just about 4 hops each for the ones that ads are not showing for at all, however no sales for any.

I am using direct links (cloaked as shortened urls when displayed on the actual ad) as opposed to landing pages yes, but I figured It's paid targetted traffic I am sending, surely this factor wouldn't completely affect my clicks and sales or no?

I ensured that the ads and keywords included the words that headed and appeared on the sales page frequently.

what does quality score mean?

Quality score is the grade Google Adwords gives each of your keywords, based on a couple of factors, including the relevance of the keywords to the ad and the landing page and how receptive viewers are to your ads, so if you do not have a good Click Through Rate your quality score may decrease, if your ads aren't getting any clicks due to a particular keyword, then that keyword will very likely get a poor quality score. The higher the quality score per keyword the better your ads will perform.

That's my understanding of it at least. Experts feel free to add or correct as needed.

2 days is too short to judge now if its working or not .....

also you may start new campaigns try the image ad for the
product and pay per 1000 impressions CPM choose a good image
to express the product be creative .....

Agree with goldeuro73, 2 days is too short to judge the effectiveness of your campaigns. However, from the stats you said, you are paying $0.66 a click on average.

Cost per Click: $0.66
Revenue per Sale: $22.50

Therefore, to break even, you need about 1 sale every 34 clicks, which is about 2.9% conversion rate.

I'm not sure what kind of revenue target you are aiming for, but I would try to send 200 clicks to it and look at the conversion rate.

Then just continue optimize your landing page for higher version rates.

It'll cost to test, but don't give up. As long as you know there's a demand for the product you are promoting, hitting the target conversion rate is just the matter of time, with respect to the budget you have of course.

Don't cut anything out for AT LEAST a week.

If they aren't performing, maybe they are the ultra targeted keywords that aren't searched much but have buying traffic. The ones your doing all this for.

Also, do NOT direct link to Clickbank. Once Google finds out, they are going to ban your account, and you won't be able to appeal it. It happened to a lot of people, and I think they started doing that 2-3 years ago if I remember correctly.

Concur with the above, it may be possible to link a FB ad directly to the CB landing page without hassles.
