I'll pay you $25.40 for making 3 Posts

I will pay you $25.40 to make some posts on an online marketplace. It’s a medium sized niche one with a few million users.. Not one of the mega retailers (eBay, Amazon, etc.)



Payment will be made by PayPal.



You will need to make a purchase that costs $24.60, so I will send you $20 before you make the purchase to offset the cost. Once the transaction is complete, I will pay you an additional $30 so your total profit is $25.40 ($50 - $24.60)

This looks a bit sketchy.

What's to stop you from not sending the additional $30 later? If you don't, now the person doing the job is at a $4,60 loss, with no recourse.

And since you're paying with paypal, unless you send the initial $20 as Friends and Family, then you can even do a chargeback on it later, and probably get it back, leaving the person doing the job with a $24,60 loss.

I'm not saying the job is not legit, but it's risky. And your profile here on BHW is very new and with no posts, which is also a bit of a red flag.

I don't want to be overly harsh. So let me just add that if the payment is done with friends and family, then all is well.
