I am more of a pub person now anyway. Use to entertain a lot when I was younger so always had a supply of drinks. Had a large double fridge with the glass doors like in the pubs full of anything you can think of.

Cant wait till next week when the pubs are open as I live by the coast at the moment I can buy a beer and sit outside and watch the world go by. Weather permitting.

Ah how much did you clean everything? Biggest issue with last / contamination is everything has to be super clean. It's daft how clean things have to be well not daft but the level of cleaning and sterlalizing involved is a job in it's own. I used to brew a fair bit and ship it up and down the UK to my freelancing mates would all get pissed drinking my cheap dirty beer lol

I think the problem could have been the malt really as I went pretty much by feeling with the whole thing. I know some guys who make drinkable beer even from the ready kits with little hacks so I'm pretty sure the fault is in me.

I lack the true passion for these kinds of things, more of a building/DIY fanatic.
