This is definently a different kind of thread. Lol I'm actually a musician who's been studying IM for a few months now and I'm on the journey to promoting my music to 10,000 fans. To be specific I'm a rapper which is a very crowded niche however I'm sure I can manage to be successful since most of the people in my niche are marketing ignorant and have no clue on how to promote there music properly. The main sites that I plan on using are YouTube, Twitter and my home website. I've already created accounts on all of these sites and also set up my own site along with my mailing list. For YouTube, which is where I plan to gain most of my fanbase at and make a pretty penny off of Adsense, I'll be using Tube Toolbox once I get enough cash together. Until then, I'm looking for something similar and preferably free. For Twitter followers, I'll be using something called ManageFlitter which is pretty much a Twitter bot that allows me to target a special audience and follow them in mass. I'll also be leading these people back to my mailing list so that they can opt in. The end goal is for tens of thousand of people to purchase my next album, but that's a ways off. Right now, I'm just trying to build a solid foundation of people that are in love with my music. I also may drop a few singles that people have to pay for depending on how my campaign goes.
