Anyone else seeing that IGTV watch time average is extremely low?

Its a new feature, so I imagine we will see it being developed and pushed within the next few months. The developer said, "we are just hoping it doesn't crash atm".

That said, I get more view time on my website than I do on instagram. View time just tanks hard after the first 30 seconds.

Yeah Its really bad. I think its just the fact that people have so many things to do with their phones that they arent willing to use it. And i think they need a better search function so that people can begin to use it to browse, rather than one video at a time. Imagine if vine was sideways and each video took up the whole screen...nah bruh.

I would give it time to grow as a platform. No one in my circles (clients/friends/marketing geeks/influencers/etc) are really talking about IGTV right now

Totally. Too much thing to explore too little time so people don't want to waste time anymore. With IG story, videos and now IGTV that is too much thing

I'm not surprised. Instagram is a website built around low attention spans. I can't see myself watching anything longer than 1 minute on it although I'm developing a series for it.
