IGTV and main account

I know IG is pushing their IGTV now and I see many IGTV videos showing up on explorer page. On an account I help manage, she posted her first video on IGTV but I don't think most of her followers saw it because those videos do not show up on the main feed and the only way for people to notice them is to go to the profile page. She ended up doing a story with a screenshot of the IGTV video and that got some traffic. Is there another better way to do this? How does IG integrate this new content? Thanks.

They do have something now to post a preview thumbnail of the IGTV video in the main feed

IGtv is still relatively new and not that popular unless you're a huge huge account. It's normal for not a lot of views at the start.

Maybe post a story that directs them there for better visibility

Yeah that's what I was thinking about IGTV - although them adding the "preview" option for a video might help a bit with the views? Who knows
