eah it’s possible to run iGaming ads on X, but it’s not as straightforward as other platforms.

X actually allows gambling/iGaming ads in some regions, but they require pre-approval and licensing, and geo restrictions matter a lot. If you don’t have the right license for the region you’re targeting, ads usually won’t get approved.

your friend is mostly right. Running iGaming ads on X is technically possible in some countries (more lenient than Meta), but getting consistent signups and FTDs is very difficult. Traffic quality is low (mostly casual scrollers with little intent), conversion rates are poor, and accounts get restricted or banned quite easily when pushing gambling offers. Most experienced iGaming marketers no longer see X as a solid or reliable platform in 2026.
