IG Shoutouts

Hey guys,

This topic is NOT about me buying/selling shoutouts.

Here's my concern. I'm trying to get a shoutout from a big accounts in the same niche as mine. For money of course. But after I found a bunch of accounts with the content similar to mine (all somewhere between 250k-900k followers) and messaging them about shoutouts, I either not getting any response or getting a response that they are only promoting business accounts. One guy told me that it's unlikely I will find somebody with a big account to promote mine, since we are kind of a competitors.

Do you have any advices on this? Did anybody succeeded to get a shoutout from a big account on IG?

PS ? I know about fiver and some websites where they sell shoutouts, but those methods tend to be not very effective.

If these IG accs about fitness yours should be about healthy food, or a sporty girl... If you are a copy/paste of these accs they will not give you shoutouts

Well, I'm not messaging those accounts who have their own unique content, so obviously they're taking those pics from the web too, and some of them could be the same. Although I didn't spot it yet.

My niche is relatively specific, and of course I could ask for a shoutout from some accounts in other niches, but as I heard it's better to get a shoutout from 50k niche-related account than from 500k broad-niche acc.

I keep looking. Yesterday got a response from a big acc, but their price is $200 per shoutout. Too much for me

Keep looking bud, I bought a shoutout from someone here with 220k followers and only received around 30-40 followers. Sometimes you just have to earn those followers yourself man!

Wow, that's very low. Was the account in the same niche as yours? And how many followers did you have before you got a shoutout?
